Even Lazy People Can Make Their Bed and Start Their Day Right

Here at One Bed, we’ve designed our sheets to be luxurious and soft, rivalling any luxury five-star hotel and high-end bedding.

But we also wanted our sheets not to be fussy. Plain and simple: we don’t have the time or patience to create a perfectly tucked and styled bed each and every morning. So we wanted a better way.

Some may ask: why make your bed when it will just get messed up again? Hear us out.

Our first two product improvements are the Easy On Flat Sheet and Stay On Fitted Sheet. Whether you use a flat sheet (also known as a top sheet) or not, if you use One Bed sheets, it takes just a moment to make your bed in the morning.

Our Easy On Flat Sheet stays tucked, if you choose. If you prefer untucked, the flat sheet stays in place more than a regular old flat sheet. If you move it around (or love to burrito), it’s easy to realign the flat sheet. In other words, your bed looks less like a disaster zone throughout the night with One Bed sheets.

The benefits of making your bed are clear.

Some people prefer a simple bed. You don’t have to make your bed to look like it came from the cover of an interior design magazine. For us, we’re inherently lazy (why we created the One Bed sheet designs), but love nice things.

But it’s surprising what a simple straightening of your covers will do for you.

If you’re more particular about your bed making and layering, we’re cool with that too. One Bed sheets are easier to tuck and create beautiful corners without fuss.

As explained by Navy Seal Admiral Wiliam McRaven:

“If you make your bed every morning, you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride and will encourage you to do another task… and another… and another. And by the end of the day that one task completed will turn into many tasks completed. Making your bed will also reinforce the fact that the little things in life matter. If you can’t do the little things right, you’ll never be able to do the big things right. And if by chance you have a miserable day, you will come home to a big that is made. That you made. And a made bed gives you encouragement that tomorrow will be better. So if you want to change the world, start off by making your bed.”

So, try making your bed in the morning a habit and see if it changes your mornings and days. Self-care (like morning meditation) is rightfully becoming more popular. Taking seconds to make your bed is one of the easiest things you can do. You won’t regret trying it. (And you won’t regret trying One Bed sheets to make your routine even better, if you already do make your bed every morning.)

Again, it’s your choice.

If you want an easier way to make your bed, try out One Bed sheets.
